We have a great afternoon of Wildcat Athletics planned for this afternoon. Our annual cross country meet will begin at 3:45 as over 300 runners will make their way to Deer Lick Park. Volleyball hosts Dixon. C team will begin at 5:30 with JV and varsity to follow. Seniors will be recognized at both events.

The Wildcats baseball team beat Richland tonight 12-0 to wrap up their fall season with a 17-4 record.

Both Licking Wildcat volleyball teams won their 20th contest of the season after defeating Summersville tonight. The varsity improves to 20-5 with their 25-14, 25-16, 25-14 victory. The JV won 25-11, 25-14. Their record is now 20-2-1.

The Lady Wildcats defeated Willow Springs tonight 25-23, 25-13, 25-20. Their record is now 19-5. The JV also won 25-12, 22-25, 15-13. They return to action tomorrow as Summersville visits Sherman Hill Fieldhouse. JV first serve is at 5:30.

The varsity baseball team improved to 16-3 this fall after defeating Dixon last night 10-4. The JV is now 9-3 after a 9-8 setback to Dixon JV.

Big win tonight at Sherman Hill Fieldhouse! The 18-5 Lady Wildcats defeat Conway - the O-Zone’s #8 team in SWMO. Conway entered the evening with a 14-5 record. The final score was 23-25, 25-23, 25-16, 23-25, 15-13. The JV improves to 15-1 after their 25-7, 25-20 victory. The C team won their set 25-8.

The Wildcat Cross Country team ran at the new course at Mt. Grove last night and came home with a lot of medals. In the JH Boys division Ethan Stout finished 9th and Isaac Rinne finished 12th to bring home medals. On the JH Girls side, Keely Gorman finished 3rd, Hannah Beasley finished 9th and Ella Bonine finished in 13th to bring home some hardware. In High School on the girls side, Kasey Richards ran well again and finished 4th overall. In the JV Boys race, Dominick Donley finished 8th, Ryan Melton finished 9th, Alex Decker finished 11th and Logan Lane finished 13th. In the Varsity Boys race, JB Huff keeps improving his time and finished in 3rd. Levi Stout finished just behind in 5th place and set a new PR last night. Other members of the varsity team who didn't medal last night, but got the team some important team points were Oscar Phillips, Titus Scavone and Aiden Crow. The next meet is our home meet next Thursday.

The Lady Wildcats volleyball team traveled to Steelville last night and won both the varsity and JV matches. The varsity is now 17-5 and the JV is 14-1. They’ll return home Thursday at 5:00 to take on Conway. The evening will begin with C team competition followed by JV and varsity.
