Today’s baseball game has been cancelled due to wet field conditions. Tomorrow is the last home game of the season and senior night. First pitch vs. Plato is 5:00.

Mrs. Briana Link says, I'm super happy to say that Band got a GOLD rating for the first time since 2001 or before! ( The MSHSAA website only goes back that far!) The Music Department got their results for the 2021 MSHSAA Music Contest. We have an incredibly talented group of students at Licking! For the Large Ensembles, the LHS Concert Band received a GOLD (Exemplary) Rating and both choirs, LHS Chamber Choir and LHS Concert Choir, received a Silver (Outstanding) Rating. Several students entered solos for MSHSAA Contest as well. Cadrian Hutsell received a GOLD (Exemplary) Rating for her vocal solo, Betty Jo Roberts and Kaytlyn Routh received Silver (Outstanding) Ratings for their vocal solos, and Dawson Havens received a Silver (Outstanding) Rating for his snare drum solo.

Golfers are competing in districts in St.Louis today! Good luck, Wildcats!

It’s that time of year...Senior Week! Congratulations to the Class of 2021! Enjoy your final week of school, Seniors.

Licking was well-represented at today’s district track meet. Congratulations to the following athletes who qualified for state sectionals!

Mrs. Hagler says, “Fifth grade worked really hard completing their Science MAP test this week. The first grade classes made them cards and posters of encouragement!!”

Great job tonight by the Licking Chapter of the FFA! Wonderful meal and ceremony.

Ms. Hood says, "All year my class has been writing pen pals in Vermont. Today we met them virtually via Zoom and introduced ourselves to our new friends. We surprised them at the end of our visit by singing, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”. Mrs. Williamson has been helping us practice the last couple of weeks for our surprise. We ended our week with a pajama party! 🎉"
