Mrs. Denbow says, “We are learning all the parts of a plant and how they grow! What better way to demonstrate this than to grow our own chia pets in class! Our class gets to take care of them everyday & watch them grow. Will share what they look like with ‘hair’ in a few weeks!”

I have been absolutely blessed to serve as superintendent in Licking since 2018. Monday evening, I notified the Board of Education that this will be my last year in this position. My hope in making this announcement early is to give the district ample time to recruit great applicants and help acclimate the new hire. We will share a survey soon with the community to gather input on what is important to our stakeholders moving forward. I thank you for embracing my family as part of this incredible community. -Cristina Wright
