Tomorrow is state sectionals for track. Our qualifiers went down a day early to practice and to avoid an long, early morning drive to Branson for the meet. We wish Kasey, Winter, Finley, Kaida, Levi, Oscar, and Allie all the best tomorrow!

The rain is holding off in town! The seniors are ready to head down Main. Step out and give them a wave.
Come out tonight to Main Street in Licking to honor the graduates of 2022 as they will be parading through town. The parade begins @ 6 pm from the elementary parking lot and will conclude at The Christian Church.
In a matchup of the #1 and #3 ranked teams in Class 3, Springfield Catholic defeats the Wildcats today 10-4. We begin district competition on Monday.

The high school drama club performed their school play today for the junior high. They will be live tonight in the junior high gym at 6:00 with their only public performance of “Shhh! Don’t Say It!!!”
Juniors are on a field trip to Jefferson City to hear a debate on the floor about property tax today!

District softball underway in Mansfield. The Lady Wildcats are taking on Ava.
Wildcat baseball (15-3) defeats Ava (10-7) today at New Covenant in Springfield. They’ll next play at Plato on Tuesday at 5:00.
Our track team had some great performances and personal records at the district meet today.
Our girls team finished 4th out of 13 teams. They also had two individual champions - Kaida Cook in the discuss and Finley Sullins in the long jump.

***New Baseball Update***
Our game at New Covenant versus Ava will be TOMORROW at 3:00. Not Monday as previously stated.
The Waynesville game on Monday is still cancelled as is the Salem Tournament. We play at Plato on Tuesday and still hope to add one more game before districts.
Our Wildcats secured the #1 seed in districts and will play in the first round on Monday, May 16th.
