Hey, Wildcats! Two wake-ups and it will be the first day of the 2022-2023 school year! Whether you’re starting kindergarten or your senior year…or any grade in between, you may be having some nervous feelings. 41 first days after this first day, I still feel the same way. I hope you will remember your friends are looking forward to seeing you, your teachers are ready to help you, and you BELONG in Licking. Following opening of bids at the August 8 meeting of the Board of Education, Bales Construction Co, Inc. was awarded the bid for construction of the bus barn pending a change in planning and zoning. Relocation of the bus barn will allow for future expansion of the elementary cafeteria to push back the first lunch shift from 10 AM to 11 AM and adjust the parent transportation line further west in the current bus parking area.
