The 2021-22 edition of Wildcat athletics is right around the corner!
The start of fall sports’ season is right around the corner. High school practices will begin Monday, August 9. Volleyball will begin at 8:00 AM in the high school gym. Baseball will begin at 7:00 AM in the weight room. Cross country will start at 8:00 AM in the gym lobby.
Junior high cross country and volleyball will begin August 16. Times will be announced later.
Athletes must have current physicals and pre-participation forms on file.
Dead Week is July 31 thru August 8.

Licking R-VIII School District has two surplus buses available for sealed bid. Bus 10 is a 2006 Blue Bird with 167,995 miles. Bus 13 is a 2001 Blue Bird with 224,113 miles. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the Superintendent at 125 College Avenue, Licking, MO 65542 between 8 AM - 3 PM Monday - Friday through 12:00 PM August 6. Bids will be opened at the Board of Education meeting Monday, August 9 at 6 PM. Individuals with questions may call (573) 674-2911.

JH Orientation is Thursday, August 19 from 6:30-7:30 PM. 7th grade will begin with an informational meeting at 6:30 PM in the JH Gym. Parents/students will receive paperwork, handbooks, and schedules. Students will have an opportunity to walk their schedules! (The first day of school is Wednesday, August 25.)
Thursday, August 19 will be Elementary Open House from 5:30-7:00 PM. Times will NOT be staggered this year. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 25!
